China Shoes Historiography Attracts Attention

As early as in 1986, Luo Zhong Qi completed the investigation and study of the history of Chinese shoes at the expense of 25 thousand times, and received the attention at home and abroad at the expense of four times.

Today, Luo Chongqi, a shoe history researcher in Shanghai, spent 20 years working on the research and appreciation of shoes in China in the past dynasties, which has been published by Donghua University press.

The research and appreciation of shoes in China in the past dynasties is the first academic monograph on the history of Chinese shoes, which is based on the authentic historical materials.

With more than 10 words and more than 400 precious pictures, the book systematically expounds the evolution of shoe culture in various dynasties, nationalities and regions from different angles such as politics, military affairs, religion, culture, art, regulation, etiquette and customs.

In view of the fact that shoes are not described in the study of Chinese clothing history, the publication of this book is an important remedial work for the overall study of Chinese costume history.

For the first time, the shoe shop found in the Qingming River map discovered by the author in the study is the first to explain the interpretation of the contemporary "leather" strokes into "animal horns, forelimbs, faces, vertebrae, animals, hind legs and tail" and so on. For the first time, the history of Chinese people's custom of disengaging is first studied. For the first time, a comparative study and verification of shoes in ancient paintings (figurines) with unearthed or handed down shoes is conducted for the first time. For the first time, historical images of the shoes, such as GE, linen and silk, unearthed from the neolithic ruins were released for the first time. For the first time, it was the first time to find that the great painter Ma Yuan and Ma Linfu son of the Song Dynasty violated the common sense of Chinese shoe history. There are differences in the two horse paintings of the Xia Shang Zhou emperors, but there is no difference between the shoes before the Han Dynasty.

These famous paintings have misled Chinese painting circles for nearly a thousand years.

Accordingly, the research and appreciation of shoes in China has filled the blanks of Chinese shoe historiography, created the research field of Chinese shoe historiography, and has been favored by famous international friends and libraries of all countries.

Some overseas magazines also highly valued the value of the research on the history of shoes culture.
