From now on, this newspaper launches this column, introducing those ordinary and touching stories to everyone.
Lining, 24, is an ordinary college graduate, but he has a different experience from ordinary people - two times from the death line.
"Having gone through so many, let me understand the meaning of" cherish ".
Lining said he hopes to lift the Olympic torch and encourage those who suffer from it.
Every day, the pillows are covered with a layer of hair, and they are anxious to meet Lining because they will receive intensive treatment from the 17 day of this month.
Lining could not see a trace of complaint and frustration on his face.
In the past 5 years, 20 times of chemotherapy have been cured.
Lining was diagnosed with leukemia in November 2002, when he was admitted to the school of software and information engineering of Northeastern University. He had only been in University for two or three months, and he had not yet had time to feel the happiness of college life.
"I like sports and I play football very often."
One or two weeks before his illness, he often felt weak when he played football.
Later, he developed fever and had perianal abscess. Until he was ready for surgery, he learned that he was suffering from severe anemia.
At the very beginning, Lining always thought he was just anaemia. His parents worried that he had never told him the truth.
After the first chemotherapy, he went home to rest for a week. He asked his parents to go back to school and continue his class. His parents said that they should consolidate their treatment for a while.
"At that time I had suspected that my condition was not as simple as anaemia."
Lining said that every morning he got up and had a falling hair on his pillow, which made his doubts more and more serious.
In the bathroom, father and son talked for a week, and Lining returned to the hospital for the second time.
"I always listen to an uncle in the ward saying that he got M3, leukemia."
Lining asked her mother if she had leukemia too.
His mother's expression of tears has not yet been forgotten to him.
At that time the mother paused for a moment and said, "son, it's okay. The first chemotherapy is very good."
At this point, Lining realized that he had acute non lymphocytic leukemia.
Even doctors did not think that Lining received a chemotherapy, the condition has been completely alleviated, and then consolidate treatment every once in a while.
Although the disease was relieved, I still felt a mountain coming over.
Lining once was very desperate and complaining.
That evening, when his father helped him bathe in the bathroom, the two men had their first long conversation after he got sick.
His father said he had found many treatments through friends, Internet and other channels. Anyway, his family would go all out to ensure his life.
"I cried because I saw my father's white hair on the temples."
He finally put aside his gains and losses, accepted and faced up to his illness, and resolved to fight against the disease.
Lining then stopped studying, and his father went to Beijing, Tianjin, Shijiazhuang and other places to find treatment.
After the third chemotherapy, the family decided to go to Shijiazhuang to combine traditional Chinese and Western medicine.
From March 2003 to September, Lining and his parents returned to Dalian and Shijiazhuang, and received 5 chemotherapy sessions.
In 2003, Lining, CEO, a campus start-up company, said that every hospitalization had seen people die, so he cherished the opportunity to return to campus.
He studied hard and was the first one every year.
And written examination seventh, the first interview results into the school's customized business class.
He also joined the Shengshi trust company of the university student entrepreneurship center.
"When I entered the company when I was sophomore in 2004, the company was not known in school."
In March 2006, Lining served as CEO of the company. In May of that year, he pulled the first real income project in the school, and before he graduated, the company had sixty or seventy employees and became the best team in the school.
"Sometimes I ask myself if I don't have this disease, will I be so active as I am now?"
Lining said he did not know the answer.
After getting sick, he even wanted to prove that he could do anything and do better than others.
In June 2006, Lining found that there were many bleeding spots on his arm.
Sure enough, leukemia relapsed again.
"Doctors have said that if the condition recurs, the risk factor is particularly high."
The whole family cried.
"After fear, I told myself that I had not done filial piety for my parents, and I could not give up."
So Lining once again actively cooperate with the treatment.
The results of the first chemotherapy were very exciting for the whole family, and Lining's condition was completely relieved again.
In July of this year, Lining graduated and entered a software development company.
"I like it very much and I am very happy to do it."
In August, when he received the "Coca-Cola" Olympic torch relay interview notice, it was a bit "Meng".
"I have a very good junior high school classmate, my 5 years of illness experience, he is in the eyes, he gave me the name."
During the half a month's selection process, Lining established a deep friendship with his teammates.
What excites him most is that the 4 people jog slowly. He is the last stick. When he crossed the line, the time is exactly 2 minutes and 30 seconds.
This is the time that Olympic torch bearers should run for 200 meters.
The world entrepreneurship Laboratory (http://elab.icxo.com) news: "no matter what the result is, I will go strong."
Lining hopes that his performance can encourage people who are equally suffering or are experiencing low levels of confidence.
At the end of 9, he returned to school.
