Industrial Cluster: Dialogue With The World In Fashion Language Zhejiang Zhili Held A Children'S Innovative Design Competition

In order to speed up the development of children's clothing industry and capture the pulse of international fashion, on March 22, Zhili, Huzhou, Zhejiang Province, held the 2025 Zhili Children's Wear "Undergraduate Innovative Design Competition" and the 5th Zhili School Uniform Garden Clothing New Product Release Conference.

From a small shoulder pole street in the past to a modern town of 25 square kilometers today, since the reform and opening up, Zhili has undergone tremendous changes due to the children's clothing industry.

Today, Zhili has gathered more than 14000 children's clothing enterprises, with an annual output of 2 billion children's clothing. In 2024, the sales of children's clothing will reach 85 billion yuan

The competition lasted for 6 months. The jury was composed of famous domestic fashion designers, famous professors from professional colleges, and timely fashion industry authorities, and decided to win one gold award, two silver awards, and three bronze awards. At the scene, "Zhili · China Children's Wear Industry Education Joint Venture", "National Children's Wear Industry Integration Practice Center" and "China Textile Engineering Society Children's Wear Industry Education Integration Practice Workstation" were established and unveiled. In addition, more than 100 brand school uniform enterprises, such as McAston, Lanyang Beibei, and Frannier, displayed more than 1000 sets of school uniforms in the way of "runway show+image exhibition area".

"We have become famous in the school uniform market segment. Since the beginning of the year, we have gone to Birmingham, England, to participate in the International Spring Consumer Goods Fair, and strive to expand the overseas market. It is expected that this new product conference will further enable Zhili school uniforms to go out and attract customers from all over the world." said Hu Bingfeng, general manager of Flannell (Huzhou) Clothing Co., Ltd.

"At the same time, we set up an overseas trade association, built the first overseas marketing center in Huzhou, Thailand, and opened children's clothing brand stores in Malaysia and the Philippines. For two consecutive years, we 'went overseas to expand the market', attracting tens of thousands of foreign businessmen to come to purchase."
