Five Nonwoven Upgrading Projects In Xiantao, Hubei Started

In Pengchang Town, Xiantao City, Hubei Province, the largest production base of nonwoven fabrics and products in China, 7 projects with a total investment of 1.73 billion yuan have recently broken ground, 5 of which are nonwoven upgrading projects.

Hubei Tuoying Group's 250000 ton annual output of inorganic non-metallic toughening and strengthening new materials for vehicles is planned to invest 300 million yuan, revitalize 177 mu of idle land, and build a modern, intelligent and large-scale production base, covering 80000 square meters of factory buildings and 5000 square meters of auxiliary facilities. Sun Wenqiang, the general manager of the company, said that the project will meet the development needs of light weight, intelligence and high performance in the automotive industry, create new nonwoven materials for vehicles, and the annual output value is expected to reach 1.8 billion yuan after all are put into production.

In addition, Hubei Baole New Material Construction R&D and Production Center Project, Hubei Donghaixiang, Xiantao Tongda Expansion High end Nonwovens Project, Hubei Baisheng Nonwovens Product Project and other non-woven fabric subdivision projects have further optimized transformation and upgrading in functional additives for non-woven fabrics, equipment upgrading, high-end air filtration products and other aspects.

Xiantao is a national famous city of nonwoven industry. In recent years, the city has carefully woven "one piece of cloth", insisted on making the leading nonwoven industry bigger and stronger, promoted the "three upgrades" of production capacity, structure and brand, strengthened the chain extension and supplement with the supply chain thinking, and promoted the high-quality development of the industry.
