The Presidium Of China International Committee Of The International Wool Textile Organization Held A Series Of Meetings In Tongxiang Puyuan

On September 23, the second meeting of the presidium of the International Wool Textile Organization (IWTO) China National Committee was held in the fashionable ancient town of Puyuan, Tongxiang. The presidium chairmen: Liu Jiaqiang, president of China Wool Textile Industry Association, Yang Shaowei, president of Shunmu Holding Group Co., Ltd., Shen Jiafeng, vice chairman of Zhejiang Xin'ao Industrial Co., Ltd Wang Yanlan, Vice President of Shandong Ruyi Group and Chief Technical Director of Wool Textile Garment Group, Zhang Shuqin, Deputy Secretary General of China Wool Textile Industry Association, Wang Ruizhe, Deputy Director of China Wool Textile Industry Association and others attended the meeting. Liu Jiaqiang reported on various issues of the current IWTO and explained relevant EU textile legislation and policies. The chairmen and representatives of the presidium introduced their own fields and the company's business and put forward their valuable suggestions for international exchanges.

In the afternoon of the same day, the presidium of the Chinese National Committee of the IWTO attended the meeting between the IWTO and the presidium of China at the invitation of Mr. Klaus Steger, Chairman of the International Woolen Textile Organization. Also attending the meeting were Yang Shaoxiao, Chairman of Shunmu Holding Group Co., Ltd., and Secretary General Dalena White. We had friendly exchanges on EU textile labeling legislation and bilateral cooperation, reached a consensus on jointly promoting the healthy and sustainable development of the wool textile industry, and linked the upstream and downstream industries to contribute to the global wool textile industry.

In the afternoon of September 24, the IWTO held an executive committee meeting in Puyuan and invited the chairman of the Chinese presidium to attend. The meeting was held online and offline at the same time. The recent work of the IWTO secretariat was reported, and the executive committees of various countries reported on their recent work.
