    Cluster and chain development

    Zhejiang textile industry occupies an important position in China and even the global textile industry. It has a complete industrial chain, covering chemical fiber, spinning, weaving, printing and dyeing, clothing, home textile and other end products, as well as special textile equipment and other links, forming a number of distinctive industrial clusters, such as Shaoxing Keqiao, Jinhua Lanxi, Yiwu, etc. The total industrial output value and operating income of the textile industry rank top in the country.

    In this survey, we visited two domestic leading enterprises of color spinning: Blum Oriental Co., Ltd. and Wafer Fashion Co., Ltd; Representative enterprises of differentiated yarns in Zhejiang: Yiwu Hengsheng Textile Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Jinfan Textile Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Shuangdun Textile Technology Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Hongyang Textile Technology Co., Ltd; And yarn solution service provider: Hangzhou Tianchen New Material Technology Co., Ltd.

    The overall operation of the visited enterprises is better than that of other regions in China. The profits in the first half of the year were better, while the operating pressure in the second half of the year increased and the profits declined significantly. Relying on the province's complete industrial chain and textile cluster, local enterprises can better link with upstream and downstream, ensuring the stability of raw materials and customers. In addition, enterprises are mostly self funded, with low financial costs and less operating pressure than other regions in China.


    Actively seek change, and the future is foreseeable

    In the face of the adverse situation of "poor domestic sales and export sales", enterprises take multiple measures to achieve high-quality development.

    The production capacity of most of the differential enterprises visited is about 50000 ingots, mainly in small batch and multi variety order production. In recent years, the enterprise has actively contacted the raw material side and the demand side to jointly develop new products and use and promote new materials, which has not only increased customer viscosity, but also achieved win-win cooperation, so that new materials and new products can be put into the consumer side more efficiently.

    In order to ensure sufficient cash flow, the enterprise currently holds a wait-and-see attitude towards large-scale equipment renewal, and is cautious in investment. However, it will ensure necessary investment in equipment technological transformation every year, and consolidate the enterprise's ability to "improve quality and efficiency". At the same time, in order to reduce production costs, enterprises are also actively adjusting the layout of production capacity and industrial focus. Small and medium-sized enterprises often look for industrial transfer sites in the province to maintain the original customer relationship; Large enterprises adjust their production focus to Xinjiang or abroad, and their management and operation are still mainly local; At the same time, the enterprise is also actively expanding other related cotton textile businesses besides production, such as e-commerce, industrial park operation, spinning solution services, supply chain platform, etc.

    In view of the future development of the industry, entrepreneurs said that the current dilemma is temporary. Enterprises should practice their internal skills and stay alive. The industry will usher in a new stage of high-quality development after a new round of introspection and reshuffle. The surviving excellent enterprises will have a broad living space, which is not expected.


    Enterprise appeals and suggestions

    Due to the increasingly strict traceability of raw materials in foreign countries, in order to ensure the smooth export of downstream customers and effectively reduce the cost of cotton production, the visiting enterprises hope that the quota policy of imported cotton can be adjusted, and more consideration should be given to the use of foreign cotton in previous years.

    In addition to front-line employees, the shortage of professional talents such as managers, technicians and product developers is more serious. Automation and intelligence can alleviate the labor shortage, but the shortage of professional talents can only be solved through self cultivation at present. How to use school enterprise cooperation and government association platform to build an integrated education model, cultivate industry talents and retain industry talents is a serious problem faced by enterprises.
