Winner Of International Textile Federation Sustainability And Innovation Award

On September 8-10, 2024 International Textile Manufacturers Federation (ITMF) (hereinafter referred to as "ITMF") Annual Conference and International Garment Federation Fashion Conference (IAF) was held in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. The conference focused on the theme of "innovation, cooperation and regulation - the driving force of the textile and clothing industry", and explored the transformation and cooperation of the global textile industry around the impact of artificial intelligence, production digitalization, international regulation, sustainable development and supply chain optimization.

During the conference, the winners of two high-profile awards, the "International Textile Federation Sustainability and Innovation Award" and the "International Textile Federation Cooperation Award", demonstrated their outstanding innovative achievements on the spot. The project of Low Carbon PET Fiber Preparation Technology and Sustainable Innovation declared by Jiangsu Guowang Gaoke Fiber Co., Ltd., Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, Jiangsu Silbang Petrochemical Co., Ltd., Jiangsu New Vision Advanced Functional Fiber Innovation Center Co., Ltd., Anta Sports Goods Co., Ltd. and other units won the "2024 International Textile Federation Sustainability and Innovation Award".

The technology captures carbon dioxide emitted from industrial production and further converts it into fiber grade ethylene glycol through chemical reaction; It has also developed direct "esterification polycondensation" and melt composite direct spinning processes to prepare flexible, ultra-fine, UV resistant and other functional polyester fiber products, which have been successfully applied in the field of textiles and clothing, realizing the recycling of carbon resources, and playing a leading and exemplary role in the sustainable development of the textile industry. It is estimated that the carbon emission of fiber made of carbon dioxide is 28.4% lower than that of raw fiber.

The project of Super Thermal Insulation Topological Soft Gel Materials declared by Beijing Zhongke Haishi Technology Co., Ltd. won the "2024 International Textile Federation Startup Enterprise Award".

Through continuous technological innovation and industrial application, Beijing Zhongke Haishi Technology Co., Ltd. has made a series of important breakthroughs in the field of lightweight thermal insulation materials. The R&D team of the company is composed of special experts of the "National Thousand Talents Program" and many well-known material experts at home and abroad, and has independently developed SYCORE-TEX series of lightweight thermal insulation materials. At present, the latest third-generation material Topographic Softgel processes multiphase multi-component polymers, functional powder materials and other composite materials into a three-dimensional multi-level porous topological network skeleton structure, supplemented by advanced textile technology, to form ultra-thin fabrics. This composite fabric has the advantages of ultra-low thermal conductivity, ultra soft elasticity, lightweight drapability, excellent wind resistance and warmth retention, and good air permeability. It can focus the thermal management space on the micro environment of the human body and clothing layer, which can not only achieve energy conservation and consumption reduction, but also help people cope with sudden changes in the natural environment.

The "International Textile Federation Sustainability and Innovation Award" aims to commend the textile industry for its sustainable and innovative achievements in innovation, design, development and production under sustainable development and environmental protection standards.

The International Cooperation Award of the International Textile Federation aims to commend the progress made in the field of international cooperation in the textile industry according to the 17 sustainable development goals in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
