It is reported that Guangqing Textile Park is one of the main platform parks for Qingyuan City to undertake the orderly transfer of textile and clothing industries in Guangzhou and Guangdong Province, and will build a "million mu, 100 billion level" manufacturing platform and "China's fast fashion and smart manufacturing base". Guangzhou North · Zhongda Fashion Science and Technology City is the core area and starting area of the park. The project covers an area of about 2000 mu, of which the first phase has a construction area of 1 million square meters, and the second phase has a total investment of 10 billion yuan. It plans to build Xinjiang cotton, cotton yarn and cotton cloth exhibition and trade center, surface accessories exhibition area, etc., and will work with the first phase to create a fashion industry cluster led by textile clothing and beauty makeup.

On that day, 10 representative enterprises from all over the country signed contracts to settle in. It includes 4 enterprises from Xinjiang, including Xinjiang West Yinli Cotton Industry (Group) Co., Ltd., Xinjiang Junggar Cotton and Hemp Co., Ltd., Xinjiang Agricultural Reclamation Modern Agricultural Industrialization Development Group Co., Ltd., and Xinjiang Litai Silk Road Investment Co., Ltd.

It is reported that at the initial stage of the planning and construction of Guangqing Textile Park, it aimed at the cotton textile industry in Xinjiang and other places, established a linkage mechanism and jointly built the cotton textile industry chain. In August 2023, Qingyuan Municipal Enterprise Delegation signed a framework agreement with the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Development and Reform Commission, the Department of Industry and Information Technology, the Department of Commerce, and the Supply and Marketing Cooperatives to build a comprehensive cooperative partnership in the cotton textile industry, promote the realization of the industrial cooperation model of "Qingyuan design and printing, Xinjiang production, and Qingyuan sales", and further create a highly competitive cotton textile industry chain and supply chain.
