On March 7, the "dual-use fiber industry chain forum and catalog release conference" jointly sponsored by China Chemical Fiber Industry Association and Xinxing Jihua (Beijing) Materials Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd. was held during the 2024 China International Spring and Summer Yarn Exhibition. The conference released the 2024 Recommended Catalogue of Military and Civilian Fiber Materials and Products (hereinafter referred to as the Catalogue), and discussed some of the latest military and civilian fibers. From 2022, the Association and Xinxing Jihua (Beijing) Materials Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd. will further combine the military needs and list the relevant technologies and products with obvious advantages in the Catalog as an important reference for the development of dual-use products, industry docking, project promotion and promotion.

Focus on the application and transformation of the advantageous fields of general fiber materials, develop military textile products, and recycle and reuse military textiles.

Wang Yongsheng made a detailed introduction to the 2024 Recommended Catalogue of Military and Civil Fiber Materials and Products. He said that the Catalogue has been adjusted and innovated every year. In 2024, the Catalogue will be clearer and clearer, releasing 16 kinds of fibers, including elastic composite fiber, antibacterial fiber, thermal fiber, temperature sensitive fiber, easy care fiber, moisture absorption fast drying fiber, flame retardant fiber, multi-functional composite fiber, etc. The product name will be more standardized, and highlight the product brand and enterprise information, The application of the products and the application enterprises were introduced precisely, so that the users could understand the new functions of the new fiber materials.
