Ganzhou City Launches Action Plan For Modernization Of Textile And Clothing Industry Chain

The textile and clothing industry is one of the key industrial clusters in Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province. The Action Plan for the Modernization of Ganzhou Textile and Clothing Industry Chain (2023-2026) (hereinafter referred to as the Action Plan) was recently issued.

The Action Plan has set the overall goal: vigorously implement actions such as enterprise support, talent introduction, improvement of supporting facilities, and quality improvement, promote the upgrading of the textile and clothing industry foundation and the modernization of the industrial chain, and accelerate the building of a "high-quality and intelligent city with strong influence in China". The Action Plan proposes that by 2026, the operating revenue of the textile and clothing industry chain cluster will strive to exceed 200 billion yuan, and the operating revenue above designated size will strive to exceed 30 billion yuan. By 2026, more than 5 listed enterprises will be cultivated, and more than 100 enterprises with an operating income of more than 100 million yuan, including more than 10 enterprises with an operating income of more than 1 billion yuan. By 2026, 50 digital production lines will be added, the networking rate of digital production equipment will reach 50%, the penetration rate of industrial cloud platforms will reach 60%, the penetration rate of ERP (enterprise resource planning) applications will reach 60%, and the penetration rate of MES (manufacturing execution system) applications will reach 30%.

The Action Plan proposes to focus on building Ganzhou textile and clothing industry belt around "one core and four districts" (with Yudu County as the core, Ningdu County, Shicheng County, Ruijin City, Xingguo County as the cluster), closely follow the main line of R&D design, production and manufacturing, and market cultivation, build, extend, supplement, and strengthen the industrial chain, and promote the formation of distinctive features, clear positioning, and dislocation development A new pattern of industrial development with complementary advantages.

Yudu County focuses on the development of women's clothing, giving consideration to the development of jeans and leisure clothing; According to the characteristics of more accessories for women's clothing, supporting the development of embroidery, garment printing and other craft industries; Give full play to the fashion characteristics of women's wear products, and extend the development of fashion design, photography, models, online celebrity and other industries. We will coordinate the construction of various industrial service headquarters and platforms, such as textile and clothing product quality supervision and inspection center, textile and clothing design center, commercial logistics center, supply chain production scheduling center, to radiate and drive the common development of the city's textile and clothing industry. Yudu County will be built into a well-known high-quality manufacturing base for fashionable women's wear in China.

Ningdu County focuses on the development of brand children's wear and business men's wear, supporting the development of craft industries related to children's wear and men's wear production; Extend the development of children's life and entertainment related industries; Broaden the development space of men's wear products and develop men's business products industry, such as ties, belts, etc.

Shicheng County focuses on the development of sports shoes and clothing, supporting the development of leather (leather), cloth, sole, glue, shoelace and other auxiliary materials industries related to the production of shoes and clothing, and extending the development of textile industry focusing on sports protective gear and outdoor sports and leisure products. Simultaneously build public service platforms such as shoe product quality supervision and inspection center, industrial design center and shoe material market.

Ruijin City focuses on the development of weaving and non-woven fabrics, focusing on the development of knitted fabrics and high-end non-woven products, giving consideration to the development of red cultural clothing, sports and leisure clothing and industrial non-woven products, and extending the development of various types of professional clothing and home clothes based on the application of functional fabrics.

Xingguo County focuses on the development of denim clothing, focusing on the development of fashion casual clothing that highlights product design features and uses natural fabrics, supporting the development of related industries such as water washing and embroidery, and extending the development of textile industries related to natural fabrics such as cotton, such as jeans bags, canvas bags, scarves, tablecloths, etc.

The Action Plan proposes six key tasks.
