The 7Th China Textile Intangible Cultural Heritage Conference Will Be Held In Beijing

In the afternoon of November 24, 2023, the press conference and launching ceremony of the 7th China Textile Intangible Cultural Heritage Conference and the 2023 Beijing Fashion Week Awards Ceremony were held in Beijing. At the press conference, the sponsor officially announced that the conference will be held in Beijing Tianlun Dynasty Hotel from December 21 to 23, 2023, with the theme of "high-quality development of textile intangible cultural heritage in the process of Chinese modernization", co sponsored by the China Textile Industry Federation, the Xing'an League Administrative Office of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Beijing Fashion Holdings Co., Ltd., the Intangible Cultural Heritage Office of the China Textile Industry Federation Beijing Fashion Week Co., Ltd. is jointly organized by the Xing'an League Culture, Tourism and Sports Bureau of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and the Mongolian Embroidery Association of Keyou Middle Banner of Xing'an League of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

It is reported that in 2020, Beijing Fashion Week, together with the Intangible Cultural Heritage Office of the China Textile Industry Federation, launched the "Intangible Cultural Heritage Fashion" segment of Beijing Fashion Week to gather national intangible cultural heritage resources, create a series of intangible cultural heritage fashion exchange activities, and lead the innovation of intangible cultural heritage fashion design. In 2022, the "Beijing Intangible Cultural Heritage Fashion Culture Incubation Platform" of Beijing Fashion Week was selected as the second batch of entry projects in the national cultural industry development project library. This grand ceremony, together with the China Textile Intangible Cultural Heritage Conference, will become another important chapter of the annual series of activities of the "Beijing Intangible Cultural Heritage Fashion Incubation Platform". By deeply excavating, refining and sublimating the connotation and essence of textile intangible cultural heritage, and innovating and applying diversified and fashionable expressions, Beijing Fashion Week will be committed to promoting the in-depth integration and development of intangible cultural heritage and fashion industry, injecting new impetus into the inheritance and innovation of traditional culture, and helping the high-quality development of China's fashion industry.
