Local Association: Zhejiang Silk Association Visited Hechi, Guangxi

On the morning of August 19, the Hechi investigation and negotiation meeting of Zhejiang silk association was held in Yizhou district to discuss cooperation plans, seek mutual benefit and win-win results, and jointly promote the high-quality development of Hechi cocoon and silk industry. Mayor Wang Jun and Wu Jingen, vice president of China Silk Association and President of Zhejiang Silk Association, attended the fair.

Wang Jun expressed his sincere welcome and heartfelt thanks to the delegation of Zhejiang Silk Association for their visit to Hechi. Wang Jun pointed out that Hechi's silkworm cocoon and silk industry occupies an important position in the country, and the municipal Party committee and the municipal government have proposed to cultivate Hechi's 100 billion yuan silkworm cocoon and silk industry cluster and form a global silk industry center. At present, Hechi, based on the advantages of resources, comprehensively promotes the silk industry, realizes the development of the whole industrial chain, and strives to build a famous "new silk capital of China" and a silk industry ecosystem in Hechi. Zhejiang Hechi University has cooperated with other well-known universities and colleges such as Suzhou Hechi University to develop high-quality industrial environment, and to create a better environment for the construction of industry and technology.

Wang Jun said that the silkworm cocoon and silk industry covers a wide range in Hechi and involves many farmers. In the next step, relying on its own resources, Hechi will actively build the whole industry chain of silkworm, cocoon and silk, deeply tap the industrial potential, continue to make efforts in consolidating and expanding the achievements of poverty alleviation, effectively linking up with rural revitalization, cooperation between the East and the west, and realizing common prosperity, so as to jointly empower Hechi with high-quality development. We will provide more support and preference in the park construction, land, factory buildings, finance, taxation, logistics, etc., and provide "nanny style" services, so that enterprises can easily settle in and put into operation smoothly, and invest in Hechi to further promote the high-quality development of the whole silk industry chain of the whole city.

Wu Jingen said that Hechi firmly grasped the opportunity of "mulberry migration from east to west" and gradually formed a development pattern of "the world sericulture looks at China, China's sericulture looks at Guangxi, and Guangxi's sericulture looks at Hechi". The rapid development of Hechi silkworm cocoon and silk industry, human resources, land and silkworm planting area and other advantages provide opportunities for Zhejiang silk enterprises to invest in Hechi and realize sustainable development. It is hoped that Hechi can further solve the problems related to labor force, market elements, standard factory buildings, equipment leasing, staff training, etc. put forward by entrepreneurs, give preferential policies and support, and support silk enterprises to set up businesses in Hechi with high-quality policies, so as to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.

Before the meeting, the delegation of Zhejiang Silk Association also visited Huanjiang Maonan Autonomous County, leading enterprises of silkworm cocoons in Yizhou District, Hechi University and other places to learn about the development of Hechi silkworm cocoon silk industry chain.
