As 2021 / 22 draws to a close, consumption remains strong. The latest report shows that global cotton consumption is 26.16 million tons. The output was slightly lower than the previous report, but remained at 26.43 million tons, which was still enough to meet the consumption demand. Looking at the global supply and demand data, we do see a small shortage of supply. At present, the global supply is 57.129 million tons and the demand is 57.133 million tons.
