According to the National Bureau of statistics, from January to September this year, the profits of Industrial Enterprises above designated size increased by 44.7% year on year, with an average increase of 18.8% in two years. The total profit of the manufacturing industry was 5298.64 billion yuan, an increase of 42.9%. Among the 41 major industrial sectors, the total profit of 35 industries increased year on year, one industry turned from loss to profit, and five industries decreased. Among them, the textile industry increased by 1.4%.

From January to September, the total profit of Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size nationwide reached 6344.08 billion yuan, up 44.7% year on year, 41.2% higher than that from January to September 2019, and an average increase of 18.8% in two years. Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size achieved 91.16 trillion yuan of operating income, up 22.2% year on year; The operating costs incurred were 76.33 trillion yuan, an increase of 21.3%; The profit margin of operating revenue was 6.96%, with a year-on-year increase of 1.09 percentage points.

From January to September, among the industrial enterprises above Designated Size, the state-owned holding enterprises achieved a total profit of 1985.05 billion yuan, an increase of 77.9% year-on-year; The total profit of joint-stock enterprises reached 4520.9 billion yuan, an increase of 50.5%; The total profits of foreign-funded enterprises and enterprises invested by Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan reached 1697.8 billion yuan, an increase of 31.7%; The total profit of private enterprises reached 186.63 billion yuan, an increase of 30.7%.
