From January to August, China's retail sales of clothing, footwear, knitwear and textiles above the quota reached 856.5 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 24.8%, a slowdown of 8.9 percentage points compared with the first half of the year, and an average increase of 3.0% in two years. Online retail sales of wearing goods increased by 19.4% in the first eight months and 9.9% in two years.

According to the data of the General Administration of customs, from January to August, China's textile and clothing exports reached US $19.47 billion, an increase of 6.0% year-on-year, and an average increase of 5.8% in two years. Among them, the textile export volume was 92.77 billion US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 11.4%; The export volume of clothing was 105.69 billion US dollars, up 128.1% year on year.
