Indonesia has recently purchased more than 400000 bales of Australian cotton, including those in 2021 and 2022. The longest loading period is September 2022. As the prices of Macao cotton, Brazilian cotton and American cotton are close at present, the sales of Australian cotton will continue in the future and occupy the market share of American cotton.

Although Vietnam's textile mills were closed and shut down due to the epidemic, the demand for Australian cotton shipped from August to September was still increasing. In recent weeks, the inquiry of cotton from Australia in South Asia has increased, and the demand of Pakistan is the most prominent. However, at this stage, containers are extremely tight, and cotton merchants are not willing to sign contracts.
