China Textile Federation Guizhou Miao Embroidery Industry Research Ended In Guizhou University For Nationalities
On July 15, the seventh station of the delegation of China Textile Industry Federation to Guizhou Miao embroidery industry came to Guizhou University for nationalities. It was the closing station after the delegation successively entered Guiyang, Kaili, Jianhe, Taijiang, Huangping and Danzhai. So far, the investigation activity of "let Miao embroidery enter modern life" was successfully concluded.
Guizhou University for nationalities, founded on May 17, 1951, is one of the earliest Ethnic Universities in New China. It is a key construction university in Guizhou Province, a University jointly built by Guizhou Provincial People's government and the National People's Commission, and a Chinese government scholarship University for the cultivation of international students. After years of development, the university constantly adjusts the layout of disciplines and specialties, optimizes the setting of the college, and gradually develops into 11 disciplines. Over the past 70 years, the university has trained a large number of excellent local talents rooted in the grass roots, and produced a large number of high-level scientific research results. The school has always shouldered the responsibility of cultural inheritance and innovation, and has developed into a talent training base in Guizhou ethnic areas, forming a strong research matrix of ethnic folk culture and ethnic issues.
Accompanied by Wang Lin, deputy secretary of the Party committee and President of Guizhou University for nationalities, Zhou Jie, member of the Party committee and vice president, and Zhao Zhanjiao, director of the public relations department of Guizhou University for nationalities, the delegation visited a number of intangible cultural heritage technology masters' studios such as lacquerware, silver ornaments, ceramics, paper cutting, wood carving, Miao embroidery and batik, as well as the Yi culture collection. It is reported that in recent years, Guizhou University for nationalities has set up many "master studios for intangible cultural heritage", attracting a number of outstanding inheritors of intangible cultural heritage and arts and crafts masters to settle on campus. They have deeply integrated the inheritance of traditional skills with university teaching, and have cultivated a large number of traditional craftsmen with fine arts foundation and understanding of technology.
Guizhou University for nationalities has built a bridge between traditional crafts and modern design, technology and public life. In recent years, Guizhou University for nationalities has made a lot of achievements in the inheritance, protection and innovation of intangible cultural heritage. Since it was approved by the Ministry of culture as the national intangible cultural heritage heritage heritage research and Training Institute in 2016, relying on high-quality teacher team, professional training base and comprehensive logistics support, the school has carried out multi-stage research and training work, comprehensively improving the practical level of intangible cultural heritage inheritors in Guizhou Province, and adding vitality to the inheritance of intangible cultural heritage.
In the afternoon, the delegation of China Textile Industry Federation to Guizhou Miao embroidery industry held a summary and exchange forum in Guizhou University for nationalities.
Sun Huaibin, vice president of China Textile Federation; Lu Yin, deputy director of Intangible Cultural Heritage Office; Dong Qingsong, general manager of China Textile Publishing House Co., Ltd.; Xu Yiran, President of digital publishing branch; Wang Zhen, President of Liaoning textile and clothing association; Ding Ning, honorary chairman and Party branch secretary of Guangdong Fashion Designers Association; Zhou Jin, President of Shandong Fashion Design Association; researcher of China Academy of Arts Li Hongfu, director of the embroidery Committee of the Chinese society of art anthropology, Li Wei, Professor of the Academy of fine arts of Tsinghua University and China's top ten fashion designer, Guo Ruiping, Professor of Beijing Institute of fashion and China's top ten fashion designer, Liu Wei, famous fashion designer and winner of the Golden Summit Award, Zeng Qingrong, chairman of Songlei group and President of Harbin Cultural Industry Association, More than 40 people attended the forum, including Yin Lili, founder and CEO of Beijing Rongjin culture; Bo Tao, artistic director of Bo Tao fashion art design center; Mao Tao, director of cultural system reform department of Guizhou provincial Party committee; Zeng Zheng, a first-class member of cultural assets supervision department; Gao Rui, director of small and medium-sized enterprises department of the Department of industry and information technology; Wang Juan, director of non Heritage Department of Department of culture and tourism; and relevant leaders of Guizhou University for nationalities. The forum was presided over by Peng Yang, executive director of colorful Guizhou scenic eye Cultural Innovation Park Transportation Management Co., Ltd.
At the meeting, sun Huaibin made a summary speech on the five-day investigation organized by the Intangible Cultural Heritage Office of China Textile Federation, introduced the research results and the cooperation intention reached between the members of the investigation group and the research enterprises, and put forward effective suggestions on the problems existing in the development of Guizhou Miao embroidery industry The designers all put forward their opinions based on their investigation experience and their respective perspectives, and said that the large-scale, high-level and in-depth investigation team organized by the Intangible Cultural Heritage Office of China Textile Federation is of great significance to the development of Miao embroidery industrialization.
