The legend of "Fuxi huachan, Leizu first silkworm" originated in Nanchong, which is the source of the Southern Silk Road. It is the only silk capital in Western China and one of the international silk city networks.

I. development history of Nanchong silk industry

In January 1997, the provincial Party committee and the provincial government sent an investigation team to examine the situation of the silk industry in zhongnanchong. The real silk output of Nanchong silk industry accounts for 37% and 11.7% of that of the whole province and the whole country respectively. The scale of silk weaving, comprehensive utilization and development, and the production of silkworms are among the top in the country. 7. Market cultivation is becoming more and more mature. Nanchong combines silk products with tourism culture, brand building and e-commerce, and has opened more than 150 exclusive stores in some major cities and scenic spots in China. Some silk enterprises have set up marketing offices in the United States, Italy, Germany, Brazil, India, etc. Nanchong silk boutique Museum has been set up in Shenzhen China silk garden.
