Data Analysis: In April, The National Clothing Factory Price Dropped By 0.6% Year On Year

In April 2021, the ex factory prices of industrial producers nationwide increased by 6.8% year-on-year and 0.9% month on month. Among them, the clothing factory price decreased by 0.6% year-on-year and increased by 0.2% month on month. The purchase price of industrial producers increased by 9.0% year-on-year and 1.3% month on month.

Among the ex factory prices of industrial producers, the price of means of production rose by 9.1% year-on-year, 3.3 percentage points higher than that of the previous month, which affected the overall level of ex factory prices of industrial producers by about 6.76%. Among them, the price of raw materials industry increased by 15.2% year-on-year, and that of processing industry increased by 5.4%. The price of means of living rose by 0.3% year-on-year, with an increase of 0.2 percentage points, which affected the overall level of factory prices of industrial producers to rise by about 0.07%. Among them, the price of clothing decreased by 0.6%, the price of general daily necessities increased by 0.3%, and the price of durable consumer goods decreased by 0.9%. Among the purchase prices of industrial producers, the price of chemical raw materials increased by 13.3% year on year.

Among the ex factory prices of industrial producers, the price of means of production rose by 1.2% month on month, down 0.8% compared with the previous month, which affected the overall level of ex factory prices of industrial producers to rise by about 0.89%. Among them, the price of raw materials industry rose by 0.8% month on month, and the price of processing industry rose by 1.3% month on month. The price of means of living rose by 0.1% on a month on month basis, down 0.1 percentage point, affecting the overall level of industrial producers' ex factory prices by about 0.03 percentage points. Among them, the price of clothing rose by 0.2% month on month, the price of general daily necessities increased by 0.3%, and the price of durable consumer goods increased by 0.4%. Among the purchase prices of industrial producers, the price of chemical raw materials rose by 2.6% month on month.
