Asian Textile Enterprises Work Together For Sustainable Development

According to Pakistan's Tribune express on January 20, the Asian textile industry sustainable development network platform released a statement saying that Asian textile industry manufacturers are working together to improve the purchasing behavior of the textile and clothing industry. The network represents more than 60% of global garment export manufacturers.

Pakistan's major textile export associations, including the sock manufacturers and Exporters Association of Pakistan (PHMA), the towel manufacturers association of Pakistan (PTMA) and the Textile Exporters Association of Pakistan (ptea), are cooperating with textile exporters in Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, Myanmar and Vietnam in an effort to eliminate barriers to rapid textile export.

A spokesman for the Internet platform said Asian textile manufacturers wanted to strengthen cooperation and reach a common position on payment and delivery terms, so as to have a greater voice in discussions with brands and buyers, and strive to make textile and clothing production sustainable.
