2020 Zhejiang Export Trade Fair (Russia Station - Clothing Fabric Special)

On November 13, the five-day 2020 Zhejiang export online trade fair (Russia Station - clothing fabric special session) came to an end. Sponsored by the Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province, the exhibition is divided into three exhibition areas: textile and garment, home textile and fabric. More than 50 Zhejiang textile enterprises from Jiaxing, Shaoxing, Hangzhou, Ningbo and other places are selected to participate in the exhibition. Many enterprises have reached purchase intention with Russian buyers at the meeting.

The domestic textile industry of clothing fabrics has always been one of the traditional superior industries in Zhejiang Province, while the Russian textile and garment industry has been in short supply for a long time, and its import dependence is relatively large. In 2019, Russia's textile and garment imports totaled US $10.56 billion, of which US $3.86 billion was imported from China, accounting for 36.41%. Zhejiang ranks second among the provinces and cities in China's textile and garment export to Russia, with a total export volume of 1.69 billion US dollars.

Since the prevention and control of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, many of the previous offline industry docking meetings have stepped into the "cloud" and achieved unexpected results. The fair also adopted the online video connection negotiation method, so that more interested enterprises can participate in it, support Zhejiang garment fabric home textile enterprises to carry out digital marketing, consolidate and expand international market share.

The reporter learned that the trade fair formed more than 200 professional negotiations in five days, among which Jiaxing Jingli Fashion Co., Ltd. received good news. They received MFD Russia clothing proofing orders through the fair, and expected to generate large orders in the future.
