Textile Knowledge: Method Of Removing Foreign Fibers In Cotton Spinning Enterprises

Foreign fiber refers to the non cotton fibers and colored fibers mixed into cotton, which seriously affect the quality of cotton and its products, such as chemical fibers, hair, silk, hemp, plastic film, plastic rope, dyeing line (rope, Butch). The foreign fiber has the characteristics of small content, great harm and uncertainty. In the textile process, it is not only difficult to remove, but also can be broken or combed into shorter, thinner and more fibrous fine spots in the carding process, resulting in a decline in the quality of cotton products, resulting in uneven dyeing of cloth and affecting appearance.

The problem of eliminating foreign fibers has always troubled the textile enterprises. Due to the shortage of labor resources and the rise of wage costs, artificial selection of foreign fibers has been gradually replaced by intelligent instruments or equipment. At present, enterprises are generally strictly controlled from three stages, namely, raw cotton control, cleaning process of foreign fiber sorting machine and winding work order, so as to eliminate the influence of foreign fibers to a maximum extent.

To solve the problem of foreign fiber, we should first control it from raw cotton. The total amount of foreign fibers in raw cotton will directly affect the scavenging rate and the amount of foreign fibers. We should seek raw cotton suppliers with high quality and good quality control, so as to ensure the quality of raw cotton. Secondly, after the raw cotton is put into the factory, the raw cotton should be inspecting the conventional physical indicators while the raw cotton content should be sampled. According to the classification of raw cotton and the control standard of raw cotton, the raw cotton should be classified according to the foreign fiber content, so as to make cotton assorting.

It can not only remove colored fibers and foreign fibers, but also remove colourless fibers. It can solve the problem of bleaching yarns differently.

There is a limit to the control methods and effects of the spinning mills for foreign fibers. The fundamental way to solve the foreign fibers is to strengthen management in the cotton planting, picking and processing stages, and avoid mixing foreign fibers. It is hoped that domestic cotton can solve the problem of mixing foreign fibers in picking and processing as soon as possible, and improve the overall quality of domestic cotton.
