It is understood that Sinopec will invest about 200 million yuan, in Beijing Yanshan petrochemical and Jiangsu Yizheng chemical fiber two enterprises to build a melt blown nonwovens (melted spray cloth), spunbonded cloth production line.

Beijing Yanshan Petrochemical Company will build 2 meltblown fabric production lines and 3 spunbond production lines. It can produce 4 tons of N95 melt spraying cloth or 6 tons of medical flat mask meltblown fabrics daily, which can produce 1 million 200 thousand (4 ton * 300 thousand tablets / ton) N95 masks, or 6 million (6 ton x 1 million / ton) medical flat respirators.

In addition to melt spray cloth, it can produce 42 tons of spunbonded cloth every day. Spunbonded cloth is used in the inner and outer layer of the respirator. It has the characteristics of UV resistance, stability and permeability, and corrosion resistance. The project strives to achieve part of the melt blown fabric in March 8th.

Yizheng chemical fiber will build 8 melted spray production lines. It can produce 8 tons of N95 melt spray cloth per day, or produce 12 tons of medical flat mask, which can produce 2 million 400 thousand N95 masks or 12 million flat mouths for medical purposes. The project will be put into operation in mid April.

Melted cloth is the "heart" of the respirator. It is used as a filter layer in the middle of medical masks. It has good filtration, barrier, thermal insulation and adsorption properties. Sinopec will actively carry out industrial chain cooperation, speed up the rhythm of direct production of melt blown materials, melts and masks, and create new medical mask materials and mask production capacity as soon as possible.
