Zhejiang'S Import Scale Hit A Record High In November

On the 12 day, the Hangzhou Customs issued the import and export data of Zhejiang in November. The total import and export value of foreign trade in that month was 267 billion 910 million yuan, an increase of 4.4% over the same period, of which 196 billion 440 million yuan was exported, an increase of 2.9%, and imports of 71 billion 470 million yuan, a record high of 8.7% in the past month.


In November, EU exports fell slightly, and the rapid growth of emerging market exports was one of the main characteristics of Zhejiang's exports. In that month, Zhejiang exported 37 billion 70 million yuan to the European Union, down 2.8%, and exported 25 billion 290 million yuan, 18 billion 390 million yuan and 17 billion 330 million yuan to ASEAN, Latin America and Africa, respectively, with an increase of 16.7%, 9.4% and 26.2%. Exports to the "one belt and one way" countries were 70 billion 840 million yuan, an increase of 16.6%, accounting for 36.1% of the total value of exports and 4.2 percentage points.


The main export status of private enterprises in Zhejiang has been further strengthened. In November, the private enterprises in the province exported 158 billion 40 million yuan, an increase of 6.3%, accounting for 80.5% of the total value of Zhejiang's exports, an increase of 2.6 percentage points, and a 171% contribution to the province's exports.
In November, Zhejiang imported the first 20 categories of commodities totaling 36 billion 570 million yuan, an increase of 18.4%, accounting for 51.2% of the total value of imports over the same period. Among them, the Province imported 4 billion 540 million yuan of crude oil, an increase of 12.7 times, and an import volume of 1 million 362 thousand tons. The import of high-tech products was 10 billion yuan, an increase of 31.3%. In terms of agricultural products, Zhejiang's pork imports increased by 1.9 times.


According to Hangzhou customs data, in 1-11 months, the total value of foreign trade and import and export of Zhejiang was 2 trillion and 770 billion yuan, an increase of 6.2%, accounting for 9.7% of China's total import and export value; of which, exports were 2 trillion and 70 billion yuan, an increase of 7.2%; imports 696 billion 490 million yuan, an increase of 3.1%. In the same period, Zhejiang's contribution rate to China's imports and exports and exports increased by 24.2% and 20.8% respectively, ranking first in all provinces.
