    Zhu Meifang, born in 1965, Ph.D., professor and director, received his bachelor's degree from Donghua University in 1986. He is currently the dean of the National Institute of materials science and engineering, director of the National Key Laboratory of fiber material modification, and the National Outstanding Youth Fund winner (2009).     Chen Wenxing, male, Han nationality, born in December 1964, Professor, director of the national "ten thousand person plan" leading talents, Zhejiang special expert, Zhejiang labor model. He is currently the headmaster of Zhejiang Sci-Tech University. He is also a member of the sixth and seventh discipline evaluation group of the State Council Academic Degrees Committee, director of the National Joint Engineering Laboratory, the innovation team of the Ministry of education and the head of Zhejiang key scientific and technological innovation team, the vice chairman of the international silk union and director of education and research Specialized Committee, and the president of Zhejiang fashion industry association. He has been engaged in the research and development of fiber preparation technology for a long time, and has carried out industry university research cooperation in the direction of high quality preparation of silk fiber and high efficiency energy saving preparation of polyester industrial yarn. It has broken through the technical bottleneck and achieved significant application results. He received a doctorate in science from Zhejiang University and a doctor in engineering from Shinshu University, Japan. After graduation, he has been working in Zhejiang Sci-Tech University.     Chen Wenxing has been engaged in research work related to fiber materials, and has carried out teaching and scientific research work for 30 years around the theme of fiber industry's energy efficiency, quality improvement and environmental protection. Since 2012, it has hosted a number of national and provincial scientific research projects, including national key R & D projects, key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, the national "973 Plan" pre research project, major science and technology projects of Zhejiang province and so on. The engineering and scientific problems such as mass transfer, residence time distribution and amplification effect have solved major engineering and technical problems of melt polycondensation to prepare high viscosity polyester melt; actively carried out industry university research cooperation, invented the liquid film thickening reactor outside the tube, and realized large-scale direct melt spinning of polyester industrial yarn. Compared with the three stage section spinning process, the production capacity of each spinning place increased by 2~4 times, the technological process shortened by more than 30 hours, and the comprehensive energy consumption of the unit product decreased by about 35.7%. In the field of high efficiency and energy saving production of chemical fiber, the method of falling film melt polycondensation outside tube was set up to clarify the characteristics of falling film flow and strengthening law outside the high viscous fluid tube, and solved the efficient heat transfer in melt polycondensation reactor. In the application of fiber materials in the field of environmental protection, new research directions of catalytic fiber degradation of organic pollutants have been developed. A new idea of fiber adsorption and in-situ catalytic degradation of organic pollutants has been proposed. A series of supported catalytic fibers have been invented to reveal a series of basic theoretical problems such as the catalytic mechanism, degradation process and degradation products of organic pollutants such as dyes, and so on. The unique role of fiber as the carrier of catalytic reaction microenvironment has been elucidated, and the application problems of catalytic degradation of organic fibers have been solved.

    In order to give full play to the industrial effect of industry, University and research, under the advocacy of Chen Wenxing, Zhejiang Sci-Tech University and Zhejiang GATT new material Limited by Share Ltd and Yangzhou Huitong chemical technology company have carried out the cooperation of industry, University and research. The annual output of 500 thousand tons of polyester industrial yarn can save about 64 thousand tons of standard coal annually, and the emission reduction of carbon dioxide is about 167 thousand tons. The achievement of "the new technology of liquid film thickening reactor and melt direct spinning polyester industrial yarn" has won the two prize of national technological invention in 2016, ranking No.1, making the technology of China's polyester industrial yarn changing from running to running.
