China Textile Institute was built in 1956 and has a history of 63 years. From the day of its birth, the textile and textile institute has always taken science and technology as its mission. It has always built a large scientific research system around the technology chain with fiber as its core.

Looking back at the history of the special node of the 70th anniversary founding of new China, we can clearly see that the development of China Textile Institute has gone through three stages. These three stages also reflect the development process of the textile industry. First, in the 50~70 era of the last century, the China Textile Institute realized the localization of cotton spinning equipment by means of scientific and technological forces, also called the localization of single equipment, and solved the problem of greatly improving production efficiency in the period of liberation. Two, since 70s of last century, the China Textile Institute has realized the localization of fiber complete equipment through the introduction of digestion and absorption and innovation. At the same time, it has joined hands with large domestic chemical fiber enterprises to realize the development of large quantities of synthetic fibers. It has laid a solid foundation for China to become the world's largest chemical fiber nation. Three, since 90s of the last century, with the industry from big to strong, the China Textile Institute has proposed strengthening independent innovation, and began to tackle Lesel technology independently. It has realized the localization of bio based fiber technology represented by Lesel fiber.

In the past 63 years, China Textile Center has gone through different stages of development, and has also undergone the reform of its management mode. However, the beginning and the mission of solving the problem of dressing for ordinary people have not changed. With the constant escalation of the dress demand of the people, in 1999, the China Textile Institute was transformed from a scientific research institution into a large scale scientific and technological enterprise directly under the central government, and in the light of the actual situation, the deep integration of the scientific and technological forces was carried out, and a number of R & D teams were stabilized and consolidated. At the same time, with the accumulation of scientific research and technology for decades, the development of science and technology industry was developed vigorously. I entered the China Textile Institute in 1997. Over the past 20 years, I have witnessed the growth of the chemical fiber industry and witnessed the development of textile industry from a traditional industry represented by cotton and linen yarn into a multidisciplinary high-tech industry.

The most impressive thing is the realization of the industrialization of the domestic products of the imported products. Lesel fiber, because of its many advantages of natural fiber comfort and chemical fiber, can achieve almost zero pollution in the production process. The solvent used is nontoxic, almost the perfect fiber in all hearts. However, due to the complexity of technology, it has been monopolized by foreign enterprises for a long time.

The world's population of textile fiber consumption, 60%~70% fiber comes from oil, because of the oil non renewable factors, the supply of oil will be less and less, and Lesel fiber is regenerated cellulose fiber. In order to solve the problem of fiber consumption and break the international ridge for a long time, in 1998, the China Textile Institute put forward the goal of "unified thinking, clear objectives and unswerving efforts to make the localization of Lesel fiber". After the guidance of the three presidents, it overcome all kinds of difficulties, and through countless tests and trials, finally, from December 23, 2016 to December 23, 2016, China's General Technology Group, which has complete independent intellectual property rights and equipment 100%, is successfully driven by one time. In This is the final achievement of the eighteen years of the Chinese textile mill. It also means that China's textile industry will soon usher in a great change.

In February 21st of this year, the "60 thousand tons of new solvent method cellulose fiber industrialization project with an annual output of 100 thousand tons" was officially launched in Xinxiang, Henan, and will start next June. At that time, 100 thousand tons of production capacity will be formed, which will lay the most solid foundation for China Textile Institute to build a 500 thousand ton scale in 2021 and become the first universal technology and new material industry group of the whole ball technology.

The technological industry cluster with fiber materials, industrial textiles, core equipment EPC and bio chemical matching, standard testing and technical services as the main field has been continuously upgrading the core competitiveness of products and international and domestic market share through technological transformation, technological innovation and capacity expansion. The development momentum is steady and the company's comprehensive strength has been notably enhanced. In 2008, it was named the first batch of innovative enterprises by the Ministry of science and technology, the State Council SASAC and the all China Federation of trade unions. In 2016, it was appraised as a national intellectual property demonstration enterprise.

In recent years, R & D, testing and other branches and service networks have been established in Zhejiang, Fujian, Guangdong, Jiangxi, Jiangsu and Henan, and the scope of innovation and radiation has been further improved.
