The Total Number Of ETC Users In Zhejiang Reached 8 Million 298 Thousand, 66% Of The Total Progress Achieved.

On August 23rd, yesterday, the Zhejiang provincial deepening toll road system reform was abolished, and the Provincial Expressway toll booths were cancelled. In July 1st, Zhejiang province implemented the ETC vehicle toll 5% off discount, so far a total reduction of 110 million yuan. At present, the total number of ETC users in Zhejiang is 8 million 298 thousand, with 66% of the progress achieved, 44% of the high speed entry, and fourth of the total.

The media reported on August 18th that China's ETC service platform was formally launched on the same day to provide services. The owners can apply for ETC freely online through the State Council ETC service area or the official WeChat ETC service platform of the Ministry of transport.

The head of the Ministry of transport said that in order to further promote the issue of ETC, the Ministry of transport and the Chinese government jointly launched the official small program platform of China's ETC service to achieve free ETC online delivery and offline door-to-door delivery, and provide owners with online installation tutorials to activate automatically.

According to the media, in May 28th of this year, the NDRC issued the implementation plan for accelerating the application of electronic toll collection service on expressway. According to the plan, by the end of December 2019, the number of ETC users in China has exceeded 180 million, the ETC of expressway toll stations has been fully covered, the ETC lane has become the main toll lane, the toll free toll of trucks has been achieved, the toll rate of fast toll on freeway has reached more than 90%, and all manual toll lanes support mobile payment and other electronic charging methods, which significantly improves the toll free service level of expressways.
