US Cotton Export Weekly: Half Of Contract Volume And Breach Of Contract In China
According to the US Department of agriculture (USDA) report, on August 2019, 9-15, the amount of us land cotton export contracted in August 2019 was 37 thousand and 200 tons, which was halved from the previous week. The main buyers were Indonesia (11 thousand and 400 tons), Vietnam (8187 tons), Peru (5443 tons), Turkey (2472 tons), and Malaysia (2018 tons), with the cancellation of contracts in the Hongkong area of China (1950 tons) and China (136 tons). In the year of 2019/20, the shipment volume of us upland cotton exports was 78 thousand tons, mainly shipped to Vietnam (18 thousand and 500 tons), Bangladesh (9230 tons), India (8981 tons), Turkey (7416 tons) and China (7098 tons). In the year of 2020/21, the US cotton export volume was 113 tons, the main buyer was Japan (272 tons), and the abolition of the contract was in Bangladesh (158 tons).
On the 9-15 th of August 2019, the US contract for the export of Pima cotton was -1156 tons in 2019/20. The main buyers were Bangladesh (204 tons), Thailand (90 tons) and Peru (45 tons), with the cancellation of the contract in China (1519 tons) and Indonesia (22 tons). In the year of 2019/20, the United States Pima cotton export volume of 1905 tons, mainly shipped to India (1315 tons), Egypt (204 tons), Salvatore (183 tons), China (90 tons).
