Daxing International Airport Will Deliver 2 Million Tons Of Annual Cargo Throughput Before September 30Th.

On August 21st, Beijing Daxing International Airport will be put into operation before September 30th. According to the plan, the annual cargo throughput of Daxing International Airport is 2 million tons.

It is understood that with the strong belly cargo capacity, BeiJing Capital Airport's cargo handling capacity reached 2 million 70 thousand tons in 2018, accounting for 86.2% of the cargo throughput of the Beijing Tianjin Hebei airport group. After the commissioning of Daxing International Airport, it will form a double hub with the Capital International Airport, and the airport group will be built with Tianjin Binhai Airport and Shijiazhuang Zhengding airport. The cargo throughput of Beijing airport will be greatly improved.

Public information shows that the freight area of Daxing International Airport covers an area of 1.51 square kilometers. The freight area is 2160 meters long, and the north and the south are 1120 meters long. There are 24 cargo spaces equipped with it. The north side is linked to the comprehensive bonded zone. The south side is close to the North runway, and the east side and the south side will have sufficient land for future use.

The empty area of the freight area is in turn located at the airport international cargo terminal, the China Southern international cargo terminal, the East China international cargo terminal, the East China domestic cargo terminal, the postal distribution center, the South China domestic cargo terminal and the airport domestic cargo terminal. There are customs inspection centers, Jingdong and Shun Feng libraries, domestic and international express library, export assembly library, import two level library and cross-border electricity supplier library.

It is reported that the "air to air transfer" designed by Daxing International Airport will provide great help for the development of freight transport. The goods of all major airlines can be "seamless" in the future, which not only saves time, but also improves transport efficiency.

The media learned that in July, China's civil aviation industry completed a total of 616 thousand tons of cargo and postal transportation volume, an increase of 4.2% over the same period last year, a 5.3 percentage point increase from last month, and a positive recovery. Among them, domestic and international routes respectively completed 410 thousand tons, 206 thousand tons, an increase of 6.7% and -0.4% over the same period.

By the end of July, the total fleet size of the whole industry reached 6309, of which 3736 were transport aircraft and 2573 were universal aircraft.
