In 2015, 24 samples of Putian shoes were tested by the national footwear inspection center of Putian entry exit inspection and Quarantine Bureau.

The test results show that the physical and mechanical properties and health and safety performance of the samples of 24 Putian shoes meet the requirements of corresponding product standards.

Among them, many standard "super national standard", such as wear resistance of soles, has high standard shoe making technology comparable to world class brands.

Although there are no listed enterprises and large brand enterprises in Putian footwear industry, some enterprises have innovating models in the pformation process, and have cultivated more than 40 independent brands in the segments of the industry market and the electricity supplier market, and have broken through the new path of brand cultivation.

In recent years, the footwear industry in Putian has dominated or participated in the development of 22 footwear national standards, 10 footwear industry standards, 7 local standards for footwear, and 10 other standards are being worked out.

At present, there are 6 provincial-level enterprise technology centers and 21 municipal enterprise technology centers in the shoe industry of Putian.

At the same time, Putian has built 3 national platforms, such as the R & D design center of China footwear industry, the national footwear information center and the national footwear inspection center, and has won the honorary title of "China footwear export base", "China footwear innovation and demonstration base", and "national pformation and upgrading of foreign trade professional demonstration base".

Data show that there are more than 4000 shoe making enterprises in Putian, more than 70% of footwear products are exported to foreign trade, and output value increased by 18.7% in 2017.

For this reason, the 7 leading enterprises in Putian, represented by the double Chi and Huafeng Group, took the lead and launched a confederation of footwear supply chain service platform, which cost 100 million yuan.

"With this supply chain platform, the difficulties faced by enterprises will be effectively resolved."

As a promoter, Chen Wenbiao said, at present, the platform has 80 local shoe purchase enterprises, 530 upstream suppliers, and the paction volume is 2 billion 800 million yuan.

The cost of purchasing is reduced by about 3%, and it is estimated that the comprehensive reduction rate will reach 10% after the completion of the platform, which will save about 3 billion yuan for the whole industry in a year.

A number of shoe enterprises in the interview said, "the cost does drop by a few percentage points".

Nowadays, the shoe industry in Putian is not only satisfied with its own brand, but has been making a stride in its development.

Since the end of 2017, Putian launched the "Putian good shoes, European and American Standard" alliance project, and 23 products from 10 enterprises have been in line with the Putian footwear industry's "three standards".
