Zhang Shaogang said that the G20 leaders have always promised to oppose trade protectionism, but in reality, trade protection measures in some major economies have not stopped. According to the monitoring report on trade protectionism measures taken by G20 members regularly released by WTO, OECD and UNCTAD, from October 2015 to May this year, G20 trade protectionism has risen. During this period, G20 members adopted new Restrictive measures 21 cases, the highest monthly average since the release of the supervision report in 2009.
