According to the data of the General Administration of customs, the gross import and export value of our country dropped by 4.4% in the previous April.
But in May 26th, the Urumqi Customs released the latest data. From 1 to April, Xinjiang's foreign trade import and export value increased by 17.1% compared with the same period last year.
Statistics show that in the first four months of this year, the total value of Xinjiang's foreign trade imports and exports is 31 billion 920 million yuan.
Among them, exports were 27 billion 740 million yuan, an increase of 17.9%; imports of 4 billion 170 million yuan, an increase of 12.3%; trade surplus of 23 billion 570 million yuan, an expansion of 18.9%.
In the month of April, the total value of Xinjiang's imports and exports reached 11 billion 810 million yuan, an increase of 28.2% over the same period last year, and a 56.6% increase in the chain.
From the perspective of country, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan are still the main trading partners, and the proportion of import and export trade between the four countries is over 60%.
In addition, Xinjiang's import and export trade with the United States, Russia, Canada and the United Kingdom increased rapidly over the same period last year, increasing by more than 1 times.

The General Administration of Customs has issued 25 and 19 initiatives and related supporting proposals. Xinjiang has constructed a multimodal pport system, supported regional customs supervision, expanded trade new formats, opened up a "green channel" for rapid clearance of agricultural products at some bilateral ports, set up a cross-border electricity supplier development platform in Xinjiang, and launched a special campaign to crack down on smuggling in Xinjiang.
The large garment enterprises realized a profit and a rebound trend, which played a positive role in Xinjiang's export.
