The Forum on planning and notification was held in Beijing.

Sun Ruizhe, vice president of the China Textile Industry Federation, deputy secretary Chang sun Huaibin, director of the textile organization service center of the SASAC, the chief engineer of the China Textile Construction Planning Institute, Guo Hongjun, the head of the Ministry of science and technology of the China Textile Industry Federation, and dozens of retired veteran comrades attending the meeting.

The meeting was chaired by Zhou Jiaping, director of the textile and retired cadre bureau of the SASAC.

At the meeting, Sun Ruizhe introduced the basic situation of the "13th Five-Year" development plan of the textile industry, and indicated that the plan is expected to be introduced in the second half of this year.

Sun Ruizhe first expressed his vision and expectation for the industry by using a "doggerel of engineering, technology, academic ability, talent training and system establishment".

After that, he carefully summed up the development of China's textile industry during the "12th Five-Year" period and achieved outstanding results, and analyzed in depth the new situation, new tasks and new features of China's textile industry in the "13th Five-Year" period.

Sun Ruizhe pointed out that during the "13th Five-Year" period, the new situation faced by China's textile industry has five main points, namely, a new pattern of global textile industry and trade, and consumption at home and abroad.

It contains new space; the integration of textile and Internet has spawned new changes; the adjustment of regional industrial structure has made a new prospect; and the construction of textile ecological civilization has put forward new requirements.

Sun Ruizhe also introduced the six key tasks and four key projects during the "13th Five-Year" period.

The six key tasks are: first, to raise the level of scientific and technological innovation; the two is to comprehensively promote brand building; three, to strengthen the construction of ecological civilization; four, to optimize the industrial regional layout; five, to accelerate the restructuring of enterprises; and six to build a multi-level talent system.

The four key projects are: intelligent manufacturing key projects, key projects of new textile materials, key projects of ecological civilization, and key projects of quality and brand.

After listening carefully to Sun Ruizhe's speech, four representatives of textile retired veteran cadres from Wu Yongsheng, Chen Yifang, Zhao Dingxun and Li Jinhua made positive suggestions on the key, hot and difficult issues in the textile industry respectively.

At the end of the meeting, Zhou Jiaping made a concluding speech.

She said that the speeches of the representatives of the veteran cadres reflected their concern about textiles, the call for textile development and their wishes for the "13th Five-Year plan" of textiles.

After listening to Sun Ruizhe's speech, we all benefited a lot. The four veteran cadres' questions raised in the light of the basic situation of the 13th Five-Year development plan will also hopefully improve the plan better.
