"Gutter Oil Fatliquor" Project Is Concerned About Hidden Huge Economic Value

The Fifth National College Students' Eco innovation and green action environmental protection competition ended in the new Tianjin eco city.

It is understood that the 8 teams entering the final of the environmental protection competition will also have the opportunity to go to Vienna to participate in the global Drucker challenge competition in November this year to show the innovative and entrepreneurial talents of young Chinese students.

The National College Students' Eco initiative, green action, environmental protection competition is jointly organized by Sino Singapore Tianjin eco city investment and Development Co., Ltd. and Drucker youth community. It aims to encourage social innovation and technological innovation in the field of environmental protection, and actively promote the way of sustainable development among college students.

This competition has received 121 entries. After 8 levels of selection, 8 teams from 9 universities in Renmin University of China, Nankai University, Tianjin University, Heilongjiang University and Heilongjiang University have entered the finals.

The use of waste oil to produce leather fatliquoring agent can not only produce certain economic value, but also avoid the trench oil flowing to the dining table to a certain extent.

Cao Jingjing, a third year student at the school of public management, South China Agricultural University, said:

Cao Jingjing: our project has three advantages. First, the demand is very large.

And the leather fatliquor link is also a necessary link.

Second, because we are using waste oil processing, the price is very low.

At present, the sale price of leather fatliquoring agent is 9000-10000 yuan per ton, and our cost is only 5000-6000 yuan per ton.

In terms of performance, it has good test results in leather flexibility, beauty and tensile strength. It is a test made by China Leather Research Center.
