The international leather Committee (ICT) held its annual meeting in Hongkong. The meeting elected the new chairman by voting. World Leather Association of Taiwan businessmen President Bai Zhixiang was elected the new chairman of ICT. The current chairman, Rino Mastrotto, chairman of the Italy Leather Association, has resigned from office and has acknowledged and appreciated the work done during his two-year term.

Bai Zhixiang said that in the next two years, it will work hard to unite the world leather industry colleagues and carry out more communication and cooperation with other international leather organizations to better protect the trade rules and leather materials status.

Over the past three years, three member representatives from China, Taiwan, China and Italy have actively proposed amendments. Raw material skin The contract is highly valued by ICT members. The requirements for revision include: 1% of the raw material trade is changed to 0%, the wet weight allowance is changed from 5% to 2%, and the single sheet can not exceed 15% of the contract stipulations. In this regard, ICT and ICHSLTA have been negotiating several times. Although no consensus has been reached, it has already played a certain role in raw material suppliers.
