    How do you feel about this milestone?

    S: I feel relieved and worked hard for 7 years. Now I can finally show my results.

    Joy and pressure, I have witnessed 150th anniversary commemorative, 175th anniversary was built by my father.

    I hope to witness the anniversary of 200, and that is the milestone I truly belong to.

    W: can you share with us the story behind the design of Grandmaster Chime?

    S: first, I need to understand the market and think about the defects of the existing products.

    This is more than just breaking the record by quantity.

    We made a lot of innovations in the Star Calibre, Calibre 89 series.

    After making a lot of analysis and listening to customers' suggestions, we formed a preliminary concept of Grandmaster Chime.

    Second, you need to identify elements that you want and have the ability to add to your watch.

    At the same time, it also reflects our creativity.

    The clock industry is based on innovation rather than copying the designs of predecessors.

    W: what is the most impressive thing in the process of producing Grandmaster Chime over the past seven years?

    At the beginning of the S: project, 200 people took part in it, and then increased 100 people every year. Now, 1000 people have participated in the design and production.

    But no one has revealed to us that our mysterious watch has no news on the Internet.

    For me, the power of mutual trust is very strong.

    No one signed any contract, but everyone quietly observed this moral contract.

    W: what do you care most about when you remove secrecy?

    S: now I have to prepare three series (2014 series, anniversary series and 2015 Series), to be honest, it's very stressful.

    People have seen the success of the annual festival and will have high hopes for the 2015 series. We need more innovation next year at the Basel jewelry watch and clock show.

    W: what difficulties have you encountered in your design?

    The design of the S: is the single dial.

    A year after the start of research and development, my father showed me a beautiful perpetual pocket watch he collected from the museum and expressed his wish to add a calendar to his annual subscription.

    Even if we need to change our design plan for the past year, my father is still very persistent.

    After that, we changed the previous single dial to the current double dial.

    I am willing to accept the challenge, because as a craftsman, we have undertaken complicated processes, but it has improved the wearer's experience (so that they can see the date).

    After two years of research, we finally decided to adopt a two ear design: bending slightly, then turning the dial with a finger.

    We have applied for a patent immediately after determining the feasibility of the scheme, and we will definitely use this design again in future products.
