    Cellulosic fibers use the same technology and equipment to produce mucilage fibers, but the new production technology is more friendly to the environment because carbon disulfide is not needed in the dissolution process.

    A group of Finland organizations are experimenting with a new closed loop production technology to pform unused cotton clothing into new fibers for fashion industry.

    Sepp l l, a retailer, will use the fiber to launch a series of costumes in Ming (2016).


    In the description of a "unique production test", the cellulose dissolution technology developed by the Finland VTT technology research center will be completed in all phases of the entire value chain in 2015 and 2016.

    VTT's cellulose wet spinning mill will start operation in Finland in October (2015), the first newly acquired product.

    The garment production line can be expected to operate before the end of Ming (2016).

    The textile recycling economy (TEKI) closed cycle plan has been implemented as a regulation and is scheduled to take effect in Finland in January 2016. This means that the organic waste in garment form can no longer be disposed of in landfills.

    VTT is coordinating with Ethica, a sustainable development consultant.

    Cotton can not be used repeatedly, but it can be dissolved into cellulose solution, making it a new fiber.

    The new technology claims to reduce at least 70% of the water footprint and reduce the carbon footprint of 40-50%.

    "The wet spinning stage in the planning started more than a month in the Valkeakoski plant, and the factory was officially opened for several years.

    The pilot phase of the TEKI project was unveiled in May 2015. The Helsinki urban recycling center collected and pretreated cotton textiles that were thrown away by consumers or could not be reused as recycling materials.

    VTT is currently developing materials into cellulose solutions using the technology of internal development, and will enter the wet spinning stage in October.

    At the subsequent stage, Pure Waste, a textile recycling and manufacturing company, will convert fibers into yarn and then enter knitted fabrics.

    The Sepp fashion l retailer, Finland fashion retailer, will design and produce samples. Once the pilot phase of the program has been completed, the commercial clothing production line for customers will start at the end of 2016, and Sepp l l will join hands with its planned customers in the spring of 2016 to participate in the old clothing recycling campaign with its stores.
