    But what is functional shoes? The most important thing on the Internet is that functional shoes originated in Japan. It was born in medical research, designed according to the principle of human body mechanics, aimed at children's "foot shape" and "walking mode", which fully matched children's walking state and developed fully functional baby shoes.

    That is to say, the so-called functional shoes are a kind of children's health.

    At present, there is no standard to define the functional shoes, and there is no uniform standard. The market is mixed. Different brands of functional shoes have different product functions, which make consumers dizzy.

    Because there is no relevant standard and specification, whether these products really have the function of claiming is unknown.

    The function of several brands of shoes sold in the market can be summarized as follows: supporting ankles, protecting toes, damping, moisture absorption, breathability, anti-skid, antibacterial and so on.

    In view of these functions, several existing methods and standards can be used for reference.

      

    (1) shock absorption

    Damping is to reduce the impact of the deformation wave on the sole of the foot caused by the contact between the foot and the ground.

    During exercise, children's ankle is easily injured, and even brain, calcaneus, cervical vertebrae and other parts cause concussion.

    The method that can be referred to is GB/T30907-2014 "rubber shoes sports shoes shock absorption performance test method" and so on.

      

    (2) anti slip

    Children's feet are not fully developed due to poor balance, and lively and active. The skid resistance of shoes is particularly important.

    The testing methods include GB/T3903.6-2005 "general test method for footwear, skid resistance", HG/T3780-2005 "test method for static skid resistance of footwear", and GB/T28287-2012 "test method for foot skid resistance".

      

    (3) moisture absorption and permeability

    Children's activities are large and sweat emissions are large. If the moisture absorption and permeability of the shoes are not good, they will keep the shoe cavity in a hot and humid state. It will easily cause bacteria to cause foot odor, and can easily cause dermatoses such as beriberi and tinea pedis. What is more serious is that if the feet are in a hot and humid environment for a long time, they will weaken the strength of the arch, relax the ligaments, and widen the plantar, thus causing flat feet.

    The test methods related to moisture absorption and breathability include GB/T3903.33-2008 "test method for footwear inner bottom and inner pad, water absorption and desorption rate", GB/T30397-2013 "test method for moisture absorption and moisture permeability of leather shoes," ISO17699:200 "test methods for footwear upper and shoe lining, water vapor penetration and water absorption".

      

    (4) antibacterial

    As a closed space, the shoe cavity is suitable for temperature and contains a large amount of protein. It has always been a breeding ground for bacteria. Especially under the action of human sweat, these bacteria and fungi are wildly multiplying, and even produce disgusting foot odor and unusual itch.

    Children's feet are in development stage, sweating easily, especially wearing.

    Artificial leather

    Plastic shoes and other air tight materials make it easier to breed bacteria.

    The antibacterial methods of footwear include HG/T3663-2014 "test methods for antibacterial properties of rubber shoes", QB/T2881-2013 "technical conditions for antibacterial properties of footwear and footwear components" and so on.
