The Ningbo clothing museum is located in the bottom village of Ningbo street, Yinzhou City, Ningbo province. It is a "human" shaped building with large sloping roofs and two top slopes.

The exhibition shows the evolution of modern Chinese clothing in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China from the combination of objects and pictures, using historical scenes restoration, on-site tailoring, electronic images and electronic touchscreens. In this historical context, the history of Ningbo's "red gang" tailor's past 200 years and the contribution of the red gang tailor to the development of modern Chinese clothing are also introduced.

As the heritage base of the provincial intangible cultural heritage "Ningbo red gang tailoring skills", another red band process hall is displayed.

At the same time, there are 56 Chinese ethnic groups, more than 100 sets of men's and women's ethnic costumes, five world continents and 41 typical national costumes.

Ningbo, as the hometown of the history of Chinese garment industry, is now known as "the city of clothing".
