In July 18th, the the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region government held a textile and garment industry in Beijing to promote employment.

The ten preferential policies formulated by the industry in promoting employment include: establishing a special fund for the development of textile and garment industry with a scale of about 20 billion yuan, implementing preferential tax policies, preferential tariff reduction, textile and clothing subsidy, Cotton Subsidy in Xinjiang, training of employees and social security subsidies, support for centralized construction of printing and dyeing wastewater treatment facilities, increasing support for Southern Xinjiang and increasing financial support.

The the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region government will also release the Xinjiang textile and garment industry development plan later: in 2023, Xinjiang will eventually achieve the target of 1 million people in the textile and apparel industry chain.

The country has constantly launched various favorable policies for the Xinjiang region. The most important thing is to maintain stability in Xinjiang. In order to achieve these goals, Guan Jian still has to solve the employment problem of Xinjiang, especially the minority people.

In this regard, as a labor-intensive textile and garment industry, it also ushered in a new opportunity for westward development.

In order to attract more garment enterprises to develop in Xinjiang, the state's support policy for Xinjiang's textile and garment industry is also constantly increasing.

In the first half of the year, the Xinjiang local government announced that it continued to invest 40 million yuan in special funds to support 41 garment enterprises in the development of Xinjiang. One of the most supportive policies for Xinjiang was launched in early September.

In September 17th, the people's Government of the Xinjiang autonomous region officially announced the implementation plan of Xinjiang cotton target price reform pilot program, and promulgated the Xinjiang cotton target price subsidy rule, stipulates that when the cotton market price is lower than the target price, the state will subsidize cotton farmers.

The policy was approved by the State Council and Xinjiang was the first pilot project.

The implementation of this policy is self-evident to the great cotton producing province of Xinjiang. At the same time, it will also play a good role in boosting the development of Xinjiang's textile and garment industry.

Opportunities continue to move westward.

On the third Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee of ~12 November 9th, the General Assembly adopted the policy of expanding the opening of the inland border to the West and promoting the construction of the Silk Road Economic Belt.

This policy is the combination of the western development strategy of the country and the expansion of the open strategy, which aims to promote the economic development of the provinces in the West.

As a major western province, Xinjiang, which is also on the border with the Central Asian countries, is also a window for China to trade with Central Asia, West Asia and Europe at the same time. It also provides greater attraction for textile and garment enterprises to enter the West.
