Status two: the authorized patents of sewing machinery manufacturers in China are mainly based on new practical patents and design patents, accounting for 52.1% and 35.2% of the total patents respectively, accounting for 87.3% of the total domestic patent authorization, while the proportion of invention patents is only 12.7% of the total authorized patents.

The lack of independent innovation capability and lack of core technology are the main reasons why our sewing machine industry is still hovering in the low end of the International Sewing machinery industry chain.

Status three: lack of R & D personnel in China's sewing machine manufacturing enterprises.

First of all, at present, there is no mature and perfect professional school and professional training system for sewing machinery in our country. For such a high-precision light industrial product such as sewing machinery, it will take a lot of energy and time to cultivate talents specialized in mechanical engineering only by enterprises themselves.

Status four: enterprises lack complete R & D procedures and specifications, and R & D work and management can not get real attention.

On the one hand, enterprises only attach importance to product development without paying much attention to all kinds of basic technology research; on the other hand, enterprises lack strong R & D system support, and the R & D process is fragmented, so it is difficult to develop core technology through systematic research and development.

Finally, sewing machine research and development personnel lack of in-depth study of clothing technology and technology, unable to keep pace with the times, it is difficult to develop and meet, exceed modern.
