Attracted by the ten preferential policies of Xinjiang to accelerate the development of the textile industry and promote the employment of millions of people, the first garment industry fund in China is to be registered in Urumqi.

Last week, at the forum of China's clothing industry development trend held in Urumqi City, Zhu Wenxin, director of China Research International, accepted the interview with reporters from Yaxin network. He was attracted by the Xinjiang textile and garment industry policy and preferential investment policy of equity investment. The first domestic garment industry fund launched by China research international and co operating with several listed companies such as Bosideng, XTEP, Semir and so on will register the management company in Urumqi.

The fund has a registered capital of 500 million yuan. The fund will strive to support the development and expansion of Xinjiang and domestic regional clothing brands, and will leverage the leverage of the fund to pry up more advantages in the field of clothing to bring together Xinjiang.

Build western fashion industry alliance base

    Reporter

Why did you choose to register the first clothing industry fund management company in Urumqi?

Zhu Wenxin: every born and growing person in Xinjiang has a complex hometown complex. With such feelings, I always pay attention to the textile and garment industry in Xinjiang even when people are in a strange land.

Before that, the clothing industry in Xinjiang has always been in a rather thin state. But in July this year, when the autonomous region held a press conference in Beijing to announce the ten preferential policies for the textile and garment industry, I realized that the time to go home was ripe.

China research international survey found that in 2013, Xinjiang registered 428 western textile and garment trade operators, and exported textiles and clothing totaling 8 billion 299 million US dollars, accounting for 37% of Xinjiang's total exports. It is 2 times the total output value of Xinjiang's textile and garment enterprises and chemical fiber enterprises over the same period.

In 2013, the import and export of textiles and garments at Xinjiang port amounted to only 51 million US dollars, accounting for 0.96% of the total import volume of Xinjiang's trade in goods, which was sufficient to reflect the international competitiveness of our textile exports to the West.

Textiles and garments exported to Xinjiang as a source of goods amounted to about 7 billion US dollars, accounting for 44% of the total export volume of Xinjiang. This set of data shows that textile and apparel are not only the main varieties of Xinjiang's export goods, but also play an important role in the balance of trade in Xinjiang ports.

Therefore, the first domestic garment industry fund management company, which is initiated by China research international and co operating with several domestic listed companies, will be registered in Urumqi.

On the one hand, it is attracted by Xinjiang's textile and clothing policy and Xinjiang's preferential policies for equity investment enterprises.

    Aspect

It is also hoped that in the light of the construction of the core area of the "Silk Road Economic Belt", and the starting point of Xinjiang's textile and garment industry to enhance the value added of the industry, the Western China's fashion industry alliance base will be built in Xinjiang.

Xinjiang can also develop regional clothing brands.

Reporter: you are the consultant of many famous domestic clothing brands such as XTEP, Jin Ba, Luo Meng, Ayilian, seven wolves and so on. Will this industry fund return home to train a famous regional brand for Xinjiang?

Zhu Wenxin: This is another intention of my registered industry fund management company in Xinjiang.

It is hoped that, like the process of developing garment brands in other parts of the country, we will develop several well-known regional brands for Xinjiang.

I have served as a think-tank member for the development of garment industry in Guangdong, Hangzhou, Fujian, Zhejiang, Chongqing and other local governments. I have provided a large number of consulting services and helped formulate the garment industry development plan. In the future, I hope to make some suggestions for the development of the local garment industry in Xinjiang and contribute to the growth of the garment industry in our country.

    In my submission,

    Xinjiang

The premise of the emergence of their regional brands is that after the ten preferential policies for textile and clothing were released, they took the lead in undertaking more mainland pfer and bird industry pfer.

At present, the domestic garment industry has shifted to the central and western regions.

Of the more than 40 textile and garment enterprises invested in Xinjiang, more than 30 of the top 500 textile and garment enterprises nationwide.

YOUNGOR, Shandong Ruyi, Zhejiang Golden Eagle and other enterprises are all forging ahead. In the newly restructured Xinjiang textile and garment enterprises, there are 11 domestic listed companies.

These enterprises have also become the new force to promote the development of clothing and apparel industry and economic growth in Xinjiang.

Export oriented brand names enhance industrial added value

Reporter: Xinjiang is the most important commodity cotton production base in China. Cotton production accounts for 40% of the total output of the country. However, the Xinjiang textile and garment industry has always been the raw material base for the eastern coastal textile and garment industry. The textile and garment industry in Xinjiang is urgent to increase the added value of the industry. Once it has helped a large number of garment enterprises and local garment industry to increase the added value of the industry, you are also called the "wealth coach" of China's clothing industry. In your opinion, how does the textile and garment industry in Xinjiang need to increase its value added?

Zhu Wenxin: in recent years, in order to stimulate the western economy and improve the textile industry chain, the state has promulgated the policy of industrial aid to Xinjiang, with the goal of "expanding employment, increasing the income of the masses and benefiting the people's livelihood" as the foothold, taking the development of the textile and dyeing industry as an important strategy to advance the development of the textile and dyeing industry. The development of labor intensive downstream clothing, home textile industry and international textile and clothing trade as the breakthrough point and breakthrough will gradually form a complete industrial chain in Xinjiang.

The textile giants are scrambling to enter. They are constantly increasing the energy of the clothing industry in Xinjiang, and promoting the rapid development of Xinjiang's garment industry and the rich people's industry with national characteristics. And with the support of national policies and capital investment, more and more Xinjiang agents will start to build up regional brands together.

"Chinese women's pants look at Zhengzhou" is just like the brand operation of "Zhengzhou Li Da", a famous brand of Zhengzhou trousers, which is located in the hinterland of Eurasian continent and is the throat and bridge of land traffic.

In China, there are irreplaceable regional advantages in the economic, technological, trade, cultural and personnel exchanges and cooperation along the Silk Road Economic Belt.

Once Xinjiang's annual sales of over 100 billion brand agents or retailers join together to open up a channel to export China's relatively surplus garment industry capacity, Xinjiang will not only produce more regional clothing brands, but also produce export oriented clothing brands.
