"AOKANG Cup" Fashion Capital Leather Creative Design Competition Review

On the international fashion consumption exhibition, the 2014 AOKANG Cup Fashion Design Competition reorganized by AOKANG and Wenzhou shoe leather industry association was officially launched.

The 9 experts from the industry and association scored more than 1000 pieces of work. The organizing committee will combine the expert ratings and online voting to finale 50 outstanding works for the final.

Since the launch of the design competition in May 20th by AOKANG spokesperson, Asian superstar Kim Su Hyon and AOKANG chairman Wang Zhentao, it has been responded by the national institutions of higher learning, footwear enterprises and leather design and research institutes. More than 1000 entries have been collected in more than 5 months.

At the scene of the event, Xie Rongfang, deputy director of the China Leather Association, executive director of Wenzhou shoe leather industry association, and 9 experts and judges of Wenzhou University, Academy of Fine Arts, President of Wenzhou University, selected and graded the entries according to five aspects: fashion, low carbon environmental protection, material innovation, new concept and new technology and functional application.
