Academic Annual Meeting: Four Aspects To Strengthen Textile Academic Innovation

We must recognize that the shift of the global economic center will inevitably lead to the formation of new consumer groups and new consumer markets. It is particularly important to understand the profound changes in the future consumer market, consumption demand and consumption patterns. It is recognized that with the new trend of world industrial development and pformation becoming more and more obvious, the textile industry has undergone important changes in the manufacturing mode, production organization form and marketing mode.

At the opening ceremony of the 2014 China Textile academic annual conference, Wang Tiankai, President of China Textile Industry Federation, analyzed the new situation facing the textile industry.

The conference held an exchange discussion on how to strengthen the academic creativity of textile in the new situation.

On October 21st ~23, the 2014 China Textile academic annual conference was held in Shanghai. With the theme of "cross border integration and intelligent textile", the conference has 1 main venues, and the development and utilization of fiber materials, modern textile processing technology, technical textiles and bio based fibers, as well as the sixth phase of new textile science and Technology Academic Salon -- 5 sub venues of digital printing technology research and application, the fifth enlarged meeting of the twenty-fourth session of the Chinese textile engineering society, the thirty-fourth annual national wool textile annual meeting and the "new best product award" conference of "Wei Er Jia", the national spinning new technology and product development exchange conference, and the 2014 National Technical Conference on dyeing and finishing sustainable development.

Chinese Academy of Engineering academician Yu Mingfang, Jiang Shicheng, Zhou Xiang, Yao Mu, Yu Jianyong and other textile experts at home and abroad, teachers and students from institutions of higher learning, representatives of well-known enterprises at home and abroad, more than 600 people attended this annual meeting.

In the speech, Shen Aimin, member of the China Association for science and technology and Secretary of the Secretariat, affirmed the good achievements made by the China Textile Engineering Society as an excellent representative of the National Association in the past few years, especially in carrying out academic exchanges, scientific popularization, international exchanges, personnel training, technical consultation and other activities.

Shen Aimin encouraged the academy to grasp academic innovation and exchange activities from four aspects: first, to establish a good academic mentality conducive to the birth of scientific and technological innovation ideas; two, to advocate inter disciplinary and cross regional discussions; three, to vigorously promote academic exchanges for social development services; four, to advocate academic achievements and the combination of science and technology policy services, and to explore the major policy issues of industrial development around the government's macro decision-making.

The winners of the "2014 China Textile Academy Award", "the 2014 China Textile academic leader", "the 2014 China textile technology leader" and the winners of the fifteenth Chen Weiji outstanding Thesis Award were presented.

Wang Tiankai presented the prize for "2014 China Textile Academy Award" and Xiao Changfa, doctoral tutor of Tianjin University of Technology.

Chen Guoqiang, Dean of the school of textiles and clothing engineering, Soochow University, Chen Li, doctoral tutor of the school of materials at Tianjin University of Technology, Cheng Longdi, doctoral supervisor of Donghua University, Professor Hao Xinmin, and vice president of the Institute of chemistry, chemistry and biotechnology, General Logistics Department Quartermaster Equipment Research Institute

Won the title of "2014 China Textile academic leader", Cao Xiuming, director of Jiangsu Sunshine Group Technology Center, Liu Zibin, general manager of Ru Tai textile Limited by Share Ltd, Ma Tingfang, general manager of Hangzhou Wan Shi Li Silk Technology Co., Ltd., and Wang Zhanhong, chairman of Jiangsu Run Yuan holding group, won the title of "2014 China textile technology leader".

Wang Tiankai said that from the 1~8 industry data, it is estimated that the main indicators of the industry will grow from two digit growth to digital growth. The textile industry is entering the new normal of the pition from high speed growth to medium speed growth.

Sun Ruizhe, vice chairman of the China Federation of textile industry and chairman of the textile engineering society, analyzed the new problems of enterprises in the new normal and how to deal with new problems in the process of pformation and upgrading in the theme report of "innovation driven cross boundary integration", and emphasized the importance of technological innovation and intelligent textile to the development of China's textile industry in the new historical period.
