1~7 months, China imported cotton yarn from India accounted for 27.9% of total imports, 319 thousand tons, down 3.3%, and import average price of 3.11 US dollars / kg, down 3.7% compared with the same period last year.

Imports of 278 thousand tons of cotton yarn from Pakistan accounted for 24.3%, down 22.6% from the same period last year, and the average import price was 2.81 US dollars / kg, down 4.4%.

Vietnam ranked third, with an import volume of 201 thousand tons, accounting for 17.6%, the proportion increased, the growth momentum was relatively impressive, the first 7 months grew 59.4%, and the import average price was 3.24 US dollars / kg, down 9.7% compared to the same period last year.

Among the remaining ten largest source countries, the most rapid growth was Uzbekistan, an increase of 98.9% and an import volume of 40 thousand tons.

Indonesia and South Korea increased by 38.8% and 6.5% respectively, with the import volume of 48 thousand tons and 20 thousand tons respectively.

In 1~7 months, China's imports from the United States and Thailand were 22 thousand tons and 23 thousand tons respectively, down 41.2% and 7.3% compared with the same period last year.

The imports of Shanghai, Jiangsu and Shandong were 112 thousand tons, 99 thousand tons and 94 thousand tons respectively, with an increase of 14.1%, 11% and 23.4% respectively; Fujian imported 59 thousand tons, an increase of 3.2% over the same period; Anhui, Xinjiang and Tianjin increased 75%, 108.9 and 79.8% respectively.
