"Tongrentang" is a well-known brand in the Chinese medicine industry. A man prints illegally the external packaging of "Tongrentang" registered trademark in his own printing shop, and sells it to the maker of counterfeit drugs for profit.
Yesterday, the court of Yuexiu opened a public hearing on the case of the defendant, Sun Mouyi, on suspicion of illegal manufacturing of registered trademarks.
According to the public prosecutor's charge, in the second half of 2013, sun TSE Yi took advantage of the rental of the "Yuexiu District Guangzhou Jiahong Hongtai printing agency service department", which is located at the first floor of No. 50 Tiancheng Road, Guangzhou. Sun Mouyi pleaded guilty.
He said, "in September 2013, Li Moujin went to my printing department to print the" Tongrentang "trademark. He provided the sample, but did not produce the authorization letter, saying it was used by the regular pharmaceutical manufacturer. I believe it is illegal.
He also said that the total amount of Li Moujin's money was 13000 yuan, making a profit of about 4000 yuan.
