In the first half of this year, the export volume of secret textiles reached US $5 billion 855 million, down 7.7% from the same period last year, according to the latest data released by the Exporters Association (ADEX).
The ADEX manufacturing ministry pointed out that the industry grew by 6% in January, but then declined. The decline in 2 to June reached 2%, 2%, 12%, 20% and 11% respectively.
Pedro Glemio, the manager of the Department, suggested that the secret and private sectors should work together to restore the positive momentum of the industry's growth: "at present, the market share of American textiles in Central America has surpassed us."
Gorai Miao also pointed out that the government should also formulate measures to improve the competitiveness of the industry, because "the textile industry is very important to the secretaries, and it has provided considerable employment."
According to ADEX data, the United States is the largest in the secret textiles.
