In P cotton spinning process, it is the key process to produce high quality yarn by combing, further eliminating short fiber, straightening fiber and removing neps from fibers.
With the continuous improvement of yarn quality and economy in domestic and foreign markets, combing process is particularly important.
By analyzing the working principle of traditional comber and foreign comber, we discuss the reasons that restrict the speed and quality improvement of traditional comber. Based on the principle of pipelining (multi station) parallel operation, we propose a new concept of parallel combing, and design a new prototype of rotary pliers comb combing machine.

The characteristics of the process are carding, separating and joining, and all the process actions are carried out in one location in the same cluster.
Just like assembling a machine, assembling all the processes in one location, this is a low efficiency "single station" centralized working mode, which is not suitable for mass and efficient product assembly.
The working principle of traditional comber is such a "single station" centralized working mode.
With the increase of the speed of the comber, the time to complete the 1 clamping times is getting shorter and shorter. The time for the 600 combing / combing machine to complete 1 clamping times is only 0.1 seconds. The agencies should separate the respective movement time in the shorter time period and cooperate with each other accurately.
Because the speed of the mechanism can not be increased without limit, this means that after the speed of the traditional comber is improved to a certain extent, even through the application of new technologies, such as digital control, lightweight high-strength materials, and multi motor drive, the optimization of the motion performance of the mechanism and the machining quality of the machined parts can only get the effect of icing on the cake, and it is difficult to make breakthroughs.

The concept of design pipelining is as follows: each work place in the pipeline is arranged according to the order of the product process, and each working place only completes one or a few processes, and the production line is produced in accordance with a uniform beat. This is the fundamental reason for the great improvement of production efficiency.
The design ideas of combing combing machine are as follows: the combing machine process can be divided into the input of cotton roller, the head end of the needle, the end of the comb, and the output of the roller to complete several processes of the cluster, which are distributed in the different positions of the cylinder. The array pliers are all distributed on the cylinder. With the rotation of the cylinder, as the "conveying device", it is responsible for clamping the fiber holder from first stations to the other stations (top comb and output roller).
The technological action of each station depends only on the coordination of the movement of the clamp plate.
The executing agencies in each process correspond to different clamp plates in their respective positions, and complete the process action in parallel, and there is no correlation between them.
It can be seen that this comber completely subverts the traditional "combing machine low efficiency" single station "centralized" working mode, eliminates the harsh combing requirements of the traditional comber in each technological action time and space, and creates the conditions for greatly improving the carding speed.

The cotton lap feeding device is located on the upper right side of Xilin, the top comb device is located above the cylinder, and the output device is located on the left side of the cylinder device. The 3 sets of pin plates and nippers are separated by 120 degrees evenly distributed on the circumference of the Xilin.

At the same time, the clamp plates with 120 degrees apart on the right side are separated from the new cotton comb roller with the comb ends, and the whole process is repeated.

Parallel combing comber has many advantages: first, soft combing.
The cylinder has 3 sets of nippers on the circumference of the cylinder. When the cylinder is swivel for 1 weeks, the 3 clamping steps can be finished. So the cylinder can rotate at low speed, and the plexus ends of the fiber must receive the gentle grooming of the cylinder pin.
The location of the top comb in the triangle area of the traditional comber can only accommodate the top comb needles, and the comb needles are inserted into the ends of the fiber ends only 1 times for very short combing. The carding effect is weak, the load is large, and the service life is short.
Parallel carding machine adopts cylinder top comb, and the end of fiber end can be stitch many times, so that the carding effect of top comb can be improved.
Second, to achieve high speed.
Xilin diameter 125 mm traditional comber, at 600 clamp speed / sub speed, cylinder line speed of 235 meters / points, and at the same clamp speed, cylinder diameter of 200 millimeter parallel combing machine, cylinder line speed is 125 meters / minute, only 54% of the traditional cylinder comber, meet the technical requirements of compliant carding.
In other words, if combing machine combing cylinder line speed is 235 M / min, the production speed can reach 1122 tweezers / points.
Third, simplify the organization.
The main parts of the combing machine are cylinder, cotton roller, rotary top comb and output roller, which are distributed in different parts of the cylinder, and there is no strict restriction on the installation space.
The whole mechanical system has no complicated motion and pmission mechanism, and the mechanism is greatly simplified, which reduces the difficulty and cost of manufacturing.
Fourth, improve performance.
The main parts of cylinder, cotton roller, top comb, output roller and so on are one way rotary motion; the nipper mechanism in Xilin does not have large movement reciprocating swing motion, the quality is greatly reduced, the noise generated by the clamp plate can be effectively reduced, and the stability of the machine is enhanced; the rotary top comb eliminates the impact of the reciprocating swing of the top comb; the output roller does not have the complex cycle movement of the traditional comber separating the rollers from down, down and stop, thus improving the dynamic performance and reducing the power consumption of the machine.
