The Provincial Quality Supervision Bureau recently issued the local standard of "combed cotton quilt for student apartments" and "textiles for student apartments" in Anhui Province, which will further standardize the production and procurement of combed cotton and textile products for students' apartments in Anhui.

From the Anhui provincial university logistics management service center, we have learned that the newly issued two local standards are comprehensive and operable. The local standard requires that beddings of student apartments must conform to the relevant national standards. Some quality indicators are higher than national and industrial standards. Cotton linens, such as sheets, quilts and towels, which are directly in contact with the human body, should be used. The formaldehyde content, pH value and dyestuff must reach the mandatory standards of the state.
