In 2005, Chong Fu town was awarded the "China fur town" by the China Light Industry Federation and the Chinese fur industry association, and became the fur production and processing center, ranking one of the three major characteristics of Zhejiang leather industry. Under the guidance of the government, a number of leading enterprises, such as Cathay, Zhonghui, Jin Xin and cedar, have established their own brands. Among them, "Jin Xin" and "Nu Jia" were also named "famous trademarks in China". At the same time, Chong Fu town fur leading enterprises also actively led and participated in the formulation of relevant industry standards.
